Meet Brandi Schoen, founder.
With two decades of experience in technical writing, Brandi’s career has taken her through defense, software, nonprofit, engineering, and aviation—which means she’s spent a lot of time learning complicated things well enough to explain them to everyone else.
Then came the Kansas City International Airport project. Its scale, complexity, and highly collaborative nature cemented her focus on engineering and Operational Readiness, Activation, and Transition (ORAT)—environments where good documentation isn’t just another project deliverable. It’s how people know what to do, when to do it, and how to do it safely.
Today, Brandi works alongside engineers, project teams, and subject matter experts to get critical knowledge out of people’s heads and into clear, practical documentation. She asks the questions, connects the dots, and translates technical details into SOPs, reports, project deliverables, and other documentation people can actually understand and use.
Because “ask Bob, he knows how it works” is not a sustainable operating procedure.
